Specifications are documents that define details about an API. An API can have multiple specifications associated with it. These specifications are referred to as versions.
View a specification
There are multiple locations in the UI where you can view the specification.
In order for the button to be displayed in the UI, An API must have an associated deployment, and that deployment must have an associated version.
If enabled, a button (or link) is displayed in the following locations. Click the button or link to open the spec.
- APIs list page, Documentation column
- API detail page, General pane
- API detail page, History tab, Filename column (displays a link)
- API detail page, Deployments tab, Documentation column
Download a specification
From the open spec, click Download to download the file.
