For problems that are related to version 2.0 of the Google Cloud monitoring agent for SAP HANA, provide the diagnostic information that is listed to Cloud Customer Care as soon as you can.
Before you open a case, make sure to check the following common issues:
- Ensure that the SAP HANA database user account that the monitoring agent for SAP HANA uses has access to the SAP HANA system views.
- Ensure the IAM service account that the monitoring agent for SAP HANA uses includes the "Monitoring Metric Writer" role.
Provide the following diagnostic information:
A complete and detailed description of the problem or error, including:
- The current application or system state.
- The date and time when the error occurred.
The version of the monitoring agent for SAP HANA that you are using. To see the version:
On RHEL, enter:
sudo yum info google-saphanamonitoring-agent
On SLES, enter:
sudo zypper info google-saphanamonitoring-agent
Provide log file
