Professional Cloud Network Engineer

A Professional Cloud Network Engineer implements and manages network architectures in Google Cloud. This individual may work on networking or cloud teams with architects who design cloud infrastructure. The Cloud Network Engineer uses the Google Cloud Console and/or command line interface, and leverages experience with network services, application and container networking, hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity, implementing VPCs, and security for established network architectures to ensure successful cloud implementations.

Registration for the Professional Cloud Network Engineer beta exam opens on August 30. Registrants of the beta exam should review the beta exam guide. Registration for the current GA (General Availability) version of the exam will continue to be available during the beta period.

About the beta exam

Beta certification exams are newly developed assessments. We gather performance statistics on the questions and use these statistics to create the certification standards for the final exam. Beta participants will be notified of their exam results within 6 to 8 weeks. You can pass the current GA exam or the beta exam to become a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Network Engineer.

Eligibility: You may participate in the beta exam regardless of your certification status. If you are already certified, passing a beta exam counts as recertification and your two-year certification term restarts.
