Biography
Shane is a data integration developer advocate for Google Cloud Developer Relations. He also currently serves as a member of NOAA's Data Archive and Access Requirements Working Group. He previously led Google Cloud's Public Datasets Program and before joining Google, Shane was the project manager of NOAA's Big Data Project and an Air Defense Officer and Public Affairs Officer in the US Army. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of South Carolina in Sports and Entertainment Management and his Master's in Data Analytics from UMGC.
