Logistics companies are going through major changes. One of the main requirements to improve positioning in a highly competitive market are solutions providing customers with security, trust, and agility.
To meet user expectations, Colombian company Envía Colvanes began using Google Cloud and Google Workspace’s solutions.
The company, which provides document, parcel, and product shipping services to over 1,400 destinations in Colombia, faced the challenge of helping its infrastructure grow dynamically and increasing productivity to provide customers with the immediate, optimal services they expect.
First stage: changing organizational culture
Given this need, the company decided to deploy Google Workspace’s solutions to foster organization-wide collaborative work, build more agile processes, and transform organizational culture.

Second stage: improving infrastructure
One of the most important projects for Envía Colvanes in its partnership with Nuva has been adopting Google Cloud solutions to build a more robust infrastructure. This includes Cloud Storage for data storage and Compute Engine to run dedicated virtual machines for database and contact center workloads.

This means current versions have the approval traffic they need, so processes can have enough information to run normally, make changes without losing document ownership, and create alerts in case of modifications.
Moreover, for Envía Colvanes, having high availability for tools is transformational. It democratizes access to information, as employees can connect from any device with an Internet connection and access the data they need to perform their tasks.
