The company has been using cloud services for nearly ten years. Faced with the need to leverage easier-to-use technologies, new services, and cost savings, SulAmérica chose Google Cloud as a strategic provider to expand its infrastructure.

Migrating SulAmérica's cloud infrastructure led to new learnings and the redefinition of company apps, which have now become part of Google Cloud's environment. The support that partner IPNET provided to the company's technicians and developers was crucial, especially for migrating products from the previous supplier's environment.
Meetings and cooperation between teams also contributed to a higher alignment of ideas and the project's success. SulAmérica's transformation journey kicked off in February 2022 and ended in October 2022, focusing on a better use of solutions integrated in the new infrastructure.

The new environment makes it easier to conduct tests to assess and validate small products or projects. There are areas dedicated to approval, testing, and production, where automation and development tasks are prioritized. All these operations performed by SulAmérica will lead to a more streamlined and faster service delivery.
Savings as a top benefit
One of the main targets of the migration has already been achieved: cost savings. "Infrastructure costs were reduced by nearly 30%, and app latency levels are now lower," says Thiago Lenzi, Sales Executive at IPNET.
In addition, centralized project management has improved process monitoring and control. This has had a significant positive impact on business areas, as products and services are delivered faster.
