EU Solvency II
Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/35 of 10 October 2014 (“Solvency II”), sets out requirements applicable to insurance and reinsurance companies in the European Union (EU) with the aim to adequately protect policyholders and beneficiaries. Article 274 (Outsourcing) of Solvency II provides specific guidance on outsourcing requirements in line with Directive 2009/138/EC of the European Parliament.
