Dokumen ini menunjukkan cara mendapatkan ID unik universal (UUID)
dari instance virtual machine (VM) menggunakan alat yang khusus untuk
sistem operasi VM.
Setiap VM memiliki UUID yang mempunyai properti berikut:
ID ini unik di antara VM Compute Engine.
ID ini dihasilkan dari ID, zona, dan nama project VM.
Stabil selama masa pakai VM. Jika VM dihapus dan
dibuat ulang dalam project, zona, dan dengan nama yang sama, VM akan menerima
UUID yang sama.
UUID hanya tersedia untuk VM yang dibuat pada atau setelah 30 Oktober 2014. Jika Anda
memiliki VM yang dibuat sebelum tanggal tersebut, buat ulang VM tersebut agar Compute Engine
dapat memberinya UUID.
Menggunakan alat sistem operasi untuk mendapatkan UUID VM
Untuk mengetahui UUID VM, jalankan perintah yang sesuai dengan
sistem operasi VM:
