Cette page vous guide tout au long du processus de configuration pour accéder aux API pré-entraînées Vertex AI dans l'infrastructure isolée Google Distributed Cloud (GDC). Vous pourrez ainsi intégrer des fonctionnalités d'IA à votre application isolée. Vous trouverez des informations sur les prérequis et les étapes à suivre pour activer et désactiver les API Vertex AI dans la console GDC.

Vertex AI sur Distributed Cloud inclut différentes API que vous devez activer depuis la console GDC pour permettre aux utilisateurs de votre organisation d'interagir avec les modèles de ML et les fonctionnalités d'IA. Pour en savoir plus sur ces API, consultez la documentation suivante :
Avant de commencer, vérifiez que vous avez effectué les étapes préalables suivantes :
Vous devez disposer du rôle Administrateur AI Platform (ai-platform-admin) pour configurer l'accès aux API Vertex AI. Si vous ne disposez pas déjà de ce rôle, vous pouvez contacter l'administrateur IAM de votre organisation ou de votre projet pour le demander. Vous pouvez également demander à votre administrateur d'activer les API Vertex AI pour vous. Pour en savoir plus sur ce rôle, consultez Préparer les autorisations IAM.
Configurez le système de noms de domaine (DNS) GDC. Si vous n'avez pas configuré le DNS, contactez votre opérateur d'infrastructure (IO) pour remplir ce prérequis.
Si vous apportez votre propre modèle parce que vous souhaitez utiliser la prédiction en ligne ou exécuter des notebooks d'intelligence artificielle (IA) et de machine learning (ML) dans un environnement GPU, assurez-vous d'allouer des machines GPU pour les types de clusters appropriés.
Activer les API pré-entraînées
Vous pouvez activer les API et les modèles de service Vertex AI à l'aide de la console GDC.
L'alerte VAI-A0001 (Enabling State Time Limit Reached) se déclenche si l'activation des services prend beaucoup de temps. Dans ce cas, votre IO doit consulter le runbook VAI-R0001 pour en savoir plus.
Désactiver les API pré-entraînées
Vous pouvez désactiver les API pré-entraînées à l'aide de la console GDC.
Dans le menu de navigation, cliquez sur Vertex AI>API pré-entraînées.
Sur la page API pré-entraînées, cliquez sur Désactiver sur un service spécifique pour désactiver cette API.
Dans la boîte de dialogue de confirmation, saisissez disable (désactiver) dans le champ de texte pour confirmer que vous souhaitez effectuer cette action. Cliquez ensuite sur Désactiver. Un message de progression s'affiche.

You must have the AI Platform Admin (`ai-platform-admin`) role to set up access to the Vertex AI APIs. You can contact your Organization IAM Admin or Project IAM Admin to request the role if you don't already have it. Alternatively, you can ask your administrator to enable Vertex AI APIs on your behalf. In the navigation menu, click **Vertex AI** \\\u003e **Pre-trained APIs**.\n3. On the **Pre-trained APIs** page, click **Enable** on a specific service to\n enable that API.\n\n | **Note:** The GDC console doesn't display the buttons to enable the pre-trained APIs if you don't have the correct permissions.\n4. In the confirmation dialog, click **Enable**. A progress message displays.\n\nThe enablement duration varies. It might take between 15 and 45 minutes to\nfinish, depending on the state of the cluster.\n\nIf you want to view the status of the pre-trained APIs,\n[view the service status and endpoints](/distributed-cloud/hosted/docs/latest/gdch/application/ao-user/vertex-ai-api-status).\n\nThe VAI-A0001 alert (`Enabling State Time Limit Reached`) triggers if the\nservices take a long time to be enabled. In this case, your IO must review the\nVAI-R0001 runbook for details.\n| **Note:** You can't enable an API while you wait for another API to finish deactivating.\n\nDeactivate pre-trained APIs\n---------------------------\n\nYou can deactivate pre-trained APIs using the GDC console.\n\nAfter [meeting the prerequisites](#before-you-enable-apis), follow these steps\nto deactivate APIs:\n\n1.
