Per offrire un'esperienza più semplificata con lo screen reader, gcloud CLI include una proprietà accessibility/screen_reader. Se imposti questa proprietà su true, viene attivato il seguente comportamento:
Indicatori di stato anziché spinner Unicode: la frase working viene visualizzata su stderr mentre gcloud CLI esegue le attività.
Barre di avanzamento in percentuale: l'avanzamento viene visualizzato come percentuale, scritta in stderr.
Tabelle compresse: le tabelle in formato riquadro sono l'output predefinito di molti comandi di elenco. Anziché essere visualizzate in tabelle disegnate in Unicode, le risorse sottoposte a query vengono visualizzate come un elenco di elementi appiattito. Valuta anche la possibilità di utilizzare il flag --format per definire un formato personalizzato.
