Rerun playbooks

Supported in:

Playbooks that are attached to alerts in a case can be rerun up to 9 times (10 times in total including the first run).

This can be useful in the following situations:

  • You want to have more up to date results since the last run
  • One or more steps in the playbook failed and you want to rerun the whole playbook
  • You changed something in the playbook in the Playbooks page and you would like to rerun it with the new logic

Rerun a playbook

  1. In the Playbooks tab of the selected alert in the Cases page, locate the playbook that you want to rerun.
  2. Click replay Rerun Playbook. Each time you choose to rerun the playbook, the iteration number is displayed and informative messages are written on the case wall.
