The United Kingdom’s National Cyber Security Centre’s (NCSC) CHECK scheme outlines how approved penetration testing companies can conduct a penetration test of public sector and common network interface (CNI) systems and networks.
As part of the CHECK program, organizations can follow a set of standards to improve their cyber security posture that can be validated and certified by a third-party assessor. A CHECK-approved penetration testing assessor provides this certification to organizations that have conducted penetration tests of their public sector, critical infrastructure, and networks.
Google Cloud is certified as CHECK-compliant after undergoing testing by an independent CHECK-approved penetration testing assessor. This certification demonstrates Google Cloud’s cyber security controls compliance with NCSC CHECK standards.
