Set up your Cloud Marketplace products for resale

This document explains how you can set up products that you offer through Google Cloud Marketplace so that other vendors can sell them.

After you've set up your products for resale, Google Cloud partners who are accepted in the Partner Advantage program and authorized in the Sell Engagement Model can resell your Cloud Marketplace products.

To reduce friction for resellers offering your products for resale, you can create reseller private offer plans, which resellers can use to independently create offers for their customers to purchase your products. For details, visit Create a reseller private offer plan.

For information about how to resell Cloud Marketplace products, visit Resell Cloud Marketplace products from ISVs.

Turn on reselling for your products

If you want resellers to be able to resell your Cloud Marketplace products, you must turn on reselling for all of your Cloud Marketplace products. If you don't turn on reselling, resellers can't use resold customer subaccounts linked to their reseller Cloud Billing account to purchase your Cloud Marketplace products.

To turn on reselling for your products, you might need to sign an amendment to the Google Cloud Marketplace Vendor Agreement. Consult with your Business Development representative to confirm that your Google Cloud Marketplace Vendor Agreement includes the necessary terms to enable reselling for your products.

When you turn on reselling for the first time, all current resellers are added to the list of allowed resellers for your products. While you have reselling turned on, by default, all new resellers are automatically added to the list of allowed resellers for your products. For details about changing this setting, or managing the list of allowed resellers for your products, visit Manage allowed resellers.

After you've turned reselling on for your Cloud Marketplace products, you see additional information related to reselling in your Customer Insights reports. For privacy reasons, this information doesn't include customer identifiable information (CII) for resold customers. For resold customers, the company name and address that appear are those of the reseller. For more information about the content of the reports, visit Additional information for resold products.
