La funzione di ripristino ripristina i dati di produzione in un momento specifico. Puoi ripristinare un file system locale, un file system NFS mappato o un file system SMB mappato sull'host originale, sovrascrivendo il file system esistente.
Ripristino del file system
Quando ripristini un file system, l'appliance di backup/ripristino:
Sostituisce tutti i file sul disco di produzione con la versione dell'immagine di backup.
Aggiunge al disco di produzione tutti i file presenti nell'immagine di backup, anche se
non si trovano più sul disco di produzione.
Lascia in posizione tutti i file sul disco di produzione che non si trovano nell'immagine di backup.
In rari casi in cui i dati di produzione risiedono su un disco o su un pool di archiviazione esterno presentato dall'appliance di backup/recupero, i ripristini sostituiscono l'intero volume o dispositivo a blocchi, quindi il file system torna esattamente a com'era al momento del backup: tutti i file sul disco di produzione che non si trovano nell'immagine di backup non saranno più presenti sul disco di produzione dopo il ripristino.
Il tempo necessario per completare un'operazione di ripristino dipende dalla quantità di dati coinvolti.
Ripristinare un file system
Utilizza queste istruzioni per ripristinare un file system da un'immagine di backup.
Nella console di gestione del servizio Backup e DR, fai clic su
App Manager e seleziona Applicazioni dal menu a discesa.
Viene visualizzata la pagina Applicazioni.
Seleziona l'immagine che vuoi ripristinare, quindi scegli Accesso dall'elenco a discesa nella parte inferiore della pagina Applicazioni.
Leggi il messaggio e inserisci DATA LOSS per confermare.
A seconda della configurazione, potrebbe essere visualizzato un secondo avviso. In questo caso,
devi inserire OVERWRITE OTHER APPS per confermare l'operazione di ripristino.
Viene avviato il job di ripristino. Puoi verificare che l'operazione di ripristino sia
andata a buon fine visualizzando lo stato del job in Monitora.
Ripristinare un file system SMB mappato
Utilizza queste istruzioni per ripristinare un'immagine del file system SMB mappata point-in-time.
Nella console di gestione del servizio Backup e DR, fai clic su
App Manager e seleziona Applicazioni dal menu a discesa.
Viene visualizzata la pagina Applicazioni.
Seleziona l'immagine mappata che vuoi ripristinare.
Seleziona un'immagine, quindi seleziona Ripristina dall'elenco delle operazioni di accesso.

Seleziona uno o più volumi da ripristinare. Per impostazione predefinita,
sono selezionati tutti i volumi.
Fai clic su Invia.
Viene visualizzata una finestra di dialogo di avviso.
Leggi la finestra di dialogo e inserisci DATA LOSS per confermare.
