Turn on automatic offer approval for your SaaS products

This article describes how to turn on automatic offer approval for SaaS products that are sold as private offers.

When a customer purchases a private offer, Google creates an entitlement, which indicates that the customer has bought the offer from Cloud Marketplace. By default, you must approve the entitlement before the offer becomes active, and the offer becomes active as soon as the offer is approved. When you turn on automatic offer approval for a SaaS product, you can schedule a specific start date for the offer when you create the offer, or enable offers to take effect immediately upon acceptance by a customer.

Before you begin

  • Your product must be integrated with Cloud Marketplace.

  • For the Google Cloud project where you manage your products, you must have the Project Editor (roles/editor) Identity and Access Management (IAM) role.

If you don't have this role, request access from a Project Owner (roles/owner). For details on granting access, see the IAM documentation on Granting, changing, and revoking access to resources.
