Incident Response and Management (IRM) is a new addition to the Stackdriver family for managing and responding to incidents. IRM leverages Stackdriver Monitoring alerting, and provides the information and tools to reduce your response team's median time to incident resolution.
IRM provides several benefits:
- End-to-end incident management: IRM lets you manage your incidents' full lifecycles, and gives you holistic data and analytics.
- Investigation insights: To accelerate your investigation processes, IRM highlights key monitoring information based on the context of the incident.
- Google best practices: IRM builds in Google incident response best practices for efficient communication, collaboration, and contextual awareness.
