La console di gestione ti consente di spostare la gestione di una VM da un'appliance di backup/ripristino a un'appliance di destinazione. Questo processo sposta la gestione
di questa VM all'appliance di backup/ripristino di destinazione specificata, come definito nella
finestra Sposta piano di backup.
Lo spostamento della gestione delle VM tra due appliance è limitato alle VM che si trovano
all'interno dello stesso host vCenter o ESX. Solo gli appliance che gestiscono le VM nello stesso host vCenter o ESX possono essere appliance di destinazione per lo spostamento del piano di backup.
Questi elettrodomestici vengono visualizzati nell'elenco dei possibili elettrodomestici di destinazione.
Spostare la gestione delle VM su un altro appliance
Segui queste istruzioni per spostare una VM da un appliance a un altro:
Nella console di gestione del servizio di backup e DR, fai clic su
Gestione app e seleziona Applicazioni dall'elenco a discesa.
Si apre la pagina Applicazioni.
Seleziona la VM da spostare, quindi scegli Sposta piano di backup dall'elenco a discesa nell'angolo in basso a destra della finestra.
Si apre la finestra Sposta piano di backup. La VM selezionata può essere gestita o
non gestita. Puoi spostare una VM senza prima applicare un piano di backup per gestirla.
Scegli l'appliance di destinazione, il profilo della risorsa e il modello di policy.
Fai clic su Sposta piano di backup.
Durante il trasferimento, viene visualizzato il messaggio di backup in corso.
Una volta completata la migrazione, viene visualizzato il messaggio di completamento della migrazione.
Rinomina un vCenter
Se modifichi il nome di un vCenter, ricordati di rinominarlo nella
console di gestione.
Segui queste istruzioni per rinominare un vCenter nella console di gestione:
Fai clic su Gestisci e seleziona Host.
Trova l'host vCenter e seleziona l'opzione Modifica.
Aggiorna il campo Nome e seleziona Salva.
Effetto della modifica dell'UUID di una VM.
Se l'UUID di una VM gestita cambia, la copia completa viene eseguita nel
job di backup successivo. Questo perché l'UUID è un identificatore chiave e un UUID modificato potrebbe significare che si tratta di una VM completamente nuova.

This occurs because the VM already exists on the target appliance as part of the replication process, where a full copy of data is created at the remote site.\n\n Once migration is complete, the migration complete message displays.\n | **Note:** If the move is not successful, the management console displays a **Move Backup Plan Failed** message along with an explanation of the failure as related to the target appliance. If possible, resolve the issue and attempt to move the backup plan again.\n\nRename a vCenter\n----------------\n\nIf you change the name of a vCenter, then remember to rename the vCenter within\nthe management console.\n\nUse these instructions to rename a vCenter in management console:\n\n1. Click **Manage** and select **Hosts**.\n2. Find your vCenter host and select the **Edit** option.\n3. Update the **Name** field, and select **Save**.\n\n### Effect of changing the UUID of a VM.\n\nIf the UUID of a managed VM changes, then a new full copy occurs on the\nnext backup job.
