Support für Oracle-Arbeitslasten in Google Cloud VMware Engine
Google Cloud VMware Engine bietet eine vollständig verwaltete VMware-Plattform mit VMware vSphere, vCenter, vSAN und NSX auf einer von Google bereitgestellten Unternehmens-Hardwareinfrastruktur. Oracle unterstützt Oracle-Produkte in virtualisierten VMware-Umgebungen.

Hinweis 249212.1 besagt, dass Oracle-Kunden mit einem aktiven Supportvertrag, die unterstützte Versionen von Oracle-Produkten ausführen, Unterstützung von Oracle beim Ausführen dieser Produkte in VMware-virtualisierten Umgebungen erhalten.
Die Kompatibilitätsmatrix im Oracle-Supportportal zeigt die von Oracle zertifizierten Oracle-Produkte mithilfe der Betriebssystemunterstützung. Oracle kennt auch ihre eigenen Betriebssysteme für den VMware ESXi-Hypervisor, der in Google Cloud VMware Engine verwendet wird.
