The Google Cloud console provides a user interface (UI) for creating and restoring backups as well as monitoring backup and restore operations.
When selecting Backup/Restore from the left pane on the instance overview page, the Backup/Restore UI displays all backups and operations in the instance, including backups of deleted databases. When accessed from the database overview page, the UI filters out the backups and operations of other databases.
Navigating to the UI
Go to the Instances page in the console.
Click on the instance that contains your desired backups or databases.
Click the Backup/Restore menu item in the left pane.
Creating a backup
In the Backups table, click the Create button.
Fill out the form and click the Create button. For more information, see How backup works.
Restoring a database from a backup
In the Backups table, select your desired backup and click the Restore button.
Fill out the form and click the Restore button. For more information, see How restore works.
