Backup and Restore with the GCP Console

The Google Cloud Console provides a user interface (UI) for creating and restoring backups as well as monitoring backup and restore operations.

The main UI for backup and restore is located in the Backup/Restore tab in either the Instance or Database details page. The Backup/Restore tab in the Instance details page displays all backups and operations in the instance (including backups of deleted databases) whereas the tab in the Database details page filters out the backups and operations of other databases.
