- Sign in to your Google account. If you don't already have one, sign up for an account.
- Go to the Google Developers Console.
- Select your desired project to enable Google Compute Engine. If you want to create a new project, click Create Project.
- Click on APIs & auth > APIs from the left-hand menu.
Look for Google Compute Engine in the list. If the STATUS column says OFF, click on the OFF button to enable the API. This will change the button to ON. If the button is already ON, you can skip this step.
Follow the prompts to set up billing. Google Compute Engine will prompt you to set up billing before you can use the service. It is not possible to use Google Compute Engine without activating billing.
