Deletes the data policy specified by its resource name.

DELETE https://bigquerydatapolicy.googleapis.com/v1/{name=projects/*/locations/*/dataPolicies/*}

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
name	string Required. Resource name of the data policy to delete. Format is projects/{projectNumber}/locations/{locationId}/dataPolicies/{dataPolicyId}.

Query parameters

Parameters
force	boolean Optional. If true, the data policy will be deleted even when it is referenced by one or more table columns.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body is an empty JSON object.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/bigquery
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
