Aggiungi un host del database e scopri i database e le istanze

Salva e classifica i contenuti in base alle tue preferenze.
Prima di poter eseguire il backup di un database, aggiungi l'host alla console di gestione e individua il database o la relativa istanza. Segui questi passaggi:
Installa l'agente di Backup e RE sul server di database
L'agente di backup e RE, un servizio leggero e con un'impronta ridotta sul server, viene utilizzato per acquisire una copia coerente con l'applicazione dei database. Utilizza il monitoraggio dei blocchi di variazione per identificare le modifiche ai dati del database per la strategia di acquisizione incrementale permanente di Backup e RE. Su tutti i server di database con dati da proteggere con Backup e RE deve essere installato l'agente Backup e RE.
Impostare il formato del disco di staging dell'host
Dopo aver aggiunto l'host, modificalo per impostare il formato del disco di staging:
Fai clic con il tasto destro del mouse sull'host e seleziona Modifica.
Nella pagina Modifica host, seleziona il formato del disco di staging:
Block: i dischi di staging basati su blocchi sono obbligatori per i backup a livello di volume.
Questi backup a livello di volume sono i più utili sia per il backup e il recupero sia per l'utilizzo di TDM. Il monitoraggio dei blocchi modificati per il backup e RE è disponibile solo su
dischi di staging basati su blocchi e i database virtuali possono essere montati solo su
dischi di staging basati su blocchi.
NFS: i dischi di staging NFS consentono solo il backup basato su file.
Seleziona Salva nella parte inferiore della pagina Modifica organizzatore.
Scopri l'applicazione del database o dell'istanza da Gestione app
Segui le istruzioni riportate di seguito per rilevare e proteggere il database o l'istanza:
Fai clic su Gestione app>Applicazioni, quindi seleziona
Aggiungi applicazione.
Nella procedura guidata Aggiungi applicazione, seleziona il tipo di database e poi segui i passaggi della procedura guidata.
Trovare il database o l'istanza rilevati in Gestione app
Per trovare l'istanza appena scoperta e i relativi database, vai alla pagina App Manager>Applications (Gestore app) della console di gestione. Sono elencate tutte le applicazioni
conosciute dalla console di gestione di tutti i tipi. Puoi utilizzare il filtro delle applicazioni Tipo nel riquadro a sinistra per mostrare solo le istanze e i database di tuo interesse. Il nuovo database o l'istanza e i relativi database
vengono visualizzati nell'elenco come non gestiti (icona scudo rosso).
