En esta página se describe cómo gestionar o actualizar el agente de Backup and DR en un host.
La herramienta de gestión de agentes de Backup and DR te permite desinstalar o actualizar el agente de Backup and DR en tus hosts cuando haya nuevas versiones disponibles.
Actualizar el agente de Backup y DR
Puede usar la herramienta de gestión de agentes para actualizar el agente de Backup and DR en sus hosts cuando haya nuevas versiones disponibles.
Sigue estas instrucciones para actualizar el agente de Backup and DR desde la gestión de agentes:
En la consola de gestión, haga clic en el menú desplegable Gestionar y seleccione Dispositivos.
Selecciona un electrodoméstico.
Haga clic en Configurar dispositivo para abrir la página Configuración del dispositivo.
Ve a Configuración y, a continuación, a Gestión de agentes.
En la sección Últimos agentes disponibles, puede ver la versión disponible en la sección Hosts detectados, incluida la versión del agente instalada en ese host.
En la sección Hosts detectados, seleccione el host para el que quiera actualizar el agente y haga clic en el signo más (+). Puede añadir varios hosts de uno en uno.
Haz clic en Actualizar.
En la ventana Actualización del agente, seleccione Iniciar actualización o Forzar actualización y, a continuación, haga clic en Enviar. Aparecerá un mensaje que indica el estado de la actualización. Puede consultar el estado del agente de Backup y DR en la columna Estado actual.
Gestionar el agente de Backup y DR
Puedes usar la herramienta de gestión de agentes para gestionar el agente de Backup and DR en tus hosts.
Sigue estas instrucciones para gestionar el agente de copia de seguridad y recuperación ante desastres desde la gestión de agentes:
En la consola de gestión, haga clic en el menú desplegable Gestionar y seleccione Dispositivos.
Selecciona un electrodoméstico.
Haga clic en Configurar dispositivo para abrir la página Configuración del dispositivo.
Ve a Configuración y haz clic en Gestión de agentes.
Se muestran los agentes de copia de seguridad y recuperación tras fallos más recientes disponibles, junto con la versión y los hosts detectados.
En la sección de hosts detectados, seleccione un host y haga clic en el icono del signo más (+).
Elige una de las opciones por host:
Abort (Cancelar): cancela la actualización del agente en curso.
Volver a analizar: vuelve a analizar el host para detectar la versión actual del agente.
Quitar: quita el agente de la lista. No se desinstalará el agente.

Click **Upgrade**.\n\n7. In the **Agent Upgrade** window, select **Start Upgrade** or\n **Force Upgrade** and then click **Submit** . A message appears that indicates\n the status of the upgrade. You can check the status of the Backup and DR agent\n from the **Current status** column.\n\nManage Backup and DR agent\n--------------------------\n\nYou can use the agent management tool to manage the Backup and DR agent\non your hosts.\n\nUse the following instructions to manage Backup and DR agent from agent\nmanagement:\n\n1. In the management console, click the **Manage** drop-down menu and select\n **Appliances**.\n\n2. Select an appliance.\n\n3.
