이 페이지에서는 프로젝트에서 백업 및 DR 서비스 리소스의 사용 및 성능을 모니터링하는 방법을 자세히 설명합니다. Google Cloud

You can use Cloud Monitoring\nto create custom charts and dashboards to visualize the different performance\nmetrics and resource usage of Backup and DR Service resources. Cloud Monitoring also\nlets you configure alerts and alert policies for these metrics. You can also\nset up an alert to check if the total data processed exceeds a\nspecified threshold value. For information about configuring alerts,\nsee [Alerts](/backup-disaster-recovery/docs/configure-alerts).\n\nYou can visualize your Backup and DR Service metrics and data using the\nfollowing Cloud Monitoring tools:\n\n- [Sample dashboards](#sample)\n- [Custom dashboards](#custom)\n- [Metrics explorer](#metrics-explorer)\n\nRequired IAM role\n-----------------\n\nThe following permissions are required for metrics operations. Learn how to\n[grant an IAM role](/iam/docs/granting-changing-revoking-access#grant-single-role).\n\n- Monitoring Viewer (`roles/monitoring.viewer`) role to view metrics in Cloud Monitoring\n- Monitoring Editor (`roles/monitoring.editor`) role to access metrics dashboard and set alerts in Cloud Monitoring\n\nAvailable Backup and DR Service resource metrics\n------------------------------------------------\n\nThe following metrics are available for Backup and DR Service in the Google Cloud console.\n\n### Metric for backup vault consumption\n\nIn Cloud Monitoring, the [monitored resource type](/monitoring/api/v3/metrics)\nfor the following metrics is the backup vault (`/backupdr.googleapis.com/BackupVault`)\n\n### Metrics for the resources protected using backup template\n\nIn Cloud Monitoring, the [monitored resource type](/monitoring/api/v3/metrics)\nfor Backup and DR Service is the management console (`/backupdr.googleapis.com/managementconsole`).\n\nAccess metrics using sample dashboards\n--------------------------------------\n\nBackup and DR Service provides sample dashboards with charts containing metrics\nrelevant to usage, performance, and the overall health of the resources. You can\nimport and install these sample dashboards in Cloud Monitoring to create custom dashboards from.\n\nTo install a sample dashboard, do the following:\n\n1. In the Google Cloud console, go to the **Monitoring** page:\n\n [Go to Monitoring page](https://console.cloud.google.com/monitoring)\n2. In the navigation pane, select **Dashboards** , and go to the **Sample library** tab.\n3. In **Categories** , select **Backup and DR**.\n4. From the list of samples, select **Backup and DR Monitoring** and click **Import**.\n5. Click **Confirm**.\n\n The dashboard is imported and listed in the **Dashboard list** tab.\n\n After importing the sample dashboard, you can view and edit the\n [Backup and DR Service metrics](#metrics) in the dashboard. For more information\n about installing sample dashboards, see [Install sample dashboards](/monitoring/dashboards/dashboard-templates).\n\nAccess metrics using custom dashboards\n--------------------------------------\n\nIn your Google Cloud project, you can create custom monitoring dashboards\nfor your Backup and DR Service resources by doing the following:\n\n1. In the Google Cloud console, go to the **Cloud Monitoring** \\\u003e **Dashboard Overview** page:\n\n [Go to Dashboard Overview page](https://console.cloud.google.com/monitoring/dashboards)\n2. Click **Create dashboard**.\n3. Click **Add widget**.\n4. Optional: Modify the name of the dashboard.\n5. From the **Add widget** menu, select a visualization type.\n6. In the **Configure widget** , do the following:\n 1. From the **Select a metric** menu, choose the [metrics](#metrics) that you want to visualize.\n 2. Click **Apply**.\n7. Click **Apply**.\n\nFor more information about custom dashboards, see [Create and manage custom dashboards](/monitoring/charts/dashboards).\n\nAccess Backup and DR Service resource metrics using Metrics explorer\n--------------------------------------------------------------------\n\nThe Cloud Monitoring [Metrics explorer](/monitoring/charts/metrics-explorer)\nhelps you build temporary metric charts to visualize the available resource metrics\nfor your Google Cloud project. Once you have created a metric chart, you can\nalso save it to a custom monitoring dashboard. For more information,\nsee [Select metrics when using Metrics explorer](/monitoring/charts/metrics-selector).\n\nTo create a chart using the Backup and DR Service resource metrics, do the following:\n\n1. In the Google Cloud console, go to the **Cloud Monitoring** \\\u003e **Metrics explorer** page:\n\n [Go to Metrics explorer page](https://console.cloud.google.com/monitoring/metrics-explorer)\n2. In the **Select a metric** pane, expand the **Metric** menu.\n3. Enter `management console` in the filter bar and then use the submenus to select a specific [resource type and metric](#metrics).\n 1. In the **Active metric categories** menu, select **OnVault_pools**.\n 2. In the **Active metrics** menu, select an **OnVault pool usage** metric.\n 3. Click **Apply**.\n4. Optional: Change the settings in the **Display** pane:\n 1. For quota and other metrics that report one sample per day, set the **Widget type** to **Stacked bar chart**.\n 2. For distribution valued metrics, click the **Widget type** menu and select **Heatmap chart**.\n5. Click **Save chart**.\n6. Enter a name for the chart in the **Chart title** field.\n7. Choose a dashboard from an existing dashboard or create a new dashboard.\n8.
