NAME
gcloud alpha compute instance-groups describe - display detailed information about an instance group
SYNOPSIS
gcloud alpha compute instance-groups describe NAME [--region=REGION     | --zone=ZONE] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG]
DESCRIPTION
(ALPHA) gcloud alpha compute instance-groups describe displays all data associated with an instance group in a project.
EXAMPLES
To get details about a regional instance group in the us-central1 regions, run:
gcloud alpha compute instance-groups describe --region=us-central1

To get details about a zonal instance group in the us-central1-b zone, run:

gcloud alpha compute instance-groups describe --zone=us-central1-b
POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
NAME
Name of the instance group to describe.
FLAGS
At most one of these can be specified:
--region=REGION
Region of the instance group to describe. If not specified, you might be prompted to select a region (interactive mode only).

A list of regions can be fetched by running:

gcloud compute regions list

Overrides the default compute/region property value for this command invocation.

--zone=ZONE
Zone of the instance group to describe. If not specified, you might be prompted to select a zone (interactive mode only).

A list of zones can be fetched by running:

gcloud compute zones list

Overrides the default compute/zone property value for this command invocation.

GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account, --billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format, --help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet, --trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.

This command is currently in alpha and might change without notice. If this command fails with API permission errors despite specifying the correct project, you might be trying to access an API with an invitation-only early access allowlist. These variants are also available:
