Add resource policies to a Compute Engine disk.gcloud beta compute disks add-resource-policies
adds resource policies to a Compute Engine disk. These policies define a schedule for taking snapshots and a retention period for these snapshots.For information on how to create resource policies, see: $ gcloud beta compute resource-policies create --help
- EXAMPLES

The following command adds two resource policies to a Compute Engine disk.
gcloud beta compute disks add-resource-policies my-disk --zone=ZONE --resource-policies=policy-1,policy-2
- POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS

DISK_NAME
- Name of the disk to add resource policies to.
- REQUIRED FLAGS
-
--resource-policies
=[RESOURCE_POLICY
,…]- A list of resource policy names to be added to the disk. The policies must exist in the same region as the disk.
- OPTIONAL FLAGS

At most one of these can be specified:
--region
=REGION
-
Region of the disk to add resource policies to. If not specified, you might be
prompted to select a region (interactive mode only).
To avoid prompting when this flag is omitted, you can set the
property:compute/region
gcloud config set compute/region REGION
A list of regions can be fetched by running:
gcloud compute regions list
To unset the property, run:
gcloud config unset compute/region
Alternatively, the region can be stored in the environment variable
.CLOUDSDK_COMPUTE_REGION
--zone
=ZONE

Zone of the disk to add resource policies to. If not specified and the
property isn't set, you might be prompted to select a zone (interactive mode only).compute/zone
