In Migration Center, un gruppo è un insieme di asset, come server e database. Puoi includere un server o un database in uno o più gruppi.
I gruppi ti consentono di organizzare gli asset in base a caratteristiche funzionali o altre funzionalità. Ad esempio, puoi raggruppare tutti i server e i database che appartengono alla stessa applicazione.
Nella pagina Dettagli gruppo, inserisci le seguenti informazioni:
Nome. Il nome del gruppo, ad esempio il nome dell'applicazione. Quando inserisci un nome, viene generato automaticamente un ID che puoi scegliere di modificare.
Descrizione. Se vuoi, fornisci una breve descrizione del gruppo.
Per confermare, fai clic su Avanti.
Nella pagina Aggiungi server, seleziona dall'elenco dei server tutti quelli che vuoi aggiungere al gruppo e poi fai clic su Avanti.
Se non vuoi aggiungere server, puoi saltare questo passaggio.
Nella pagina Aggiungi implementazioni di database, dall'elenco dei database,
seleziona tutti i database che vuoi aggiungere al gruppo.
Se non vuoi aggiungere implementazioni di database, puoi saltare questo passaggio.
Per creare il gruppo, fai clic su Crea.
Aggiungere e rimuovere asset da un gruppo
Dopo aver creato un gruppo di asset, puoi aggiungerne o rimuoverne altri.
Dall'elenco dei gruppi, seleziona il gruppo a cui vuoi aggiungere gli asset.
Nella pagina dei dettagli del gruppo, segui questi passaggi:
Se vuoi aggiungere server, nella scheda Server,
fai clic su Aggiungi server. Nella nuova pagina che si apre, seleziona tutti i server da aggiungere al gruppo e fai clic su Aggiungi.
Se vuoi aggiungere un database, nella scheda Deployment database,
fai clic su Aggiungi deployment database.
Nella nuova pagina che si apre, seleziona tutte le implementazioni del database che vuoi aggiungere al gruppo, poi fai clic su Aggiungi.
Per ottenere il modello con i dati attuali del gruppo di asset, fai clic su Esporta modello.
Puoi scaricare questi dati come file CSV o esportarli in Fogli Google per modificarli.
Modificare le assegnazioni dei gruppi di asset
Per modificare le assegnazioni dei gruppi di asset:
Apri il file CSV e modifica la colonna Gruppi per modificare o assegnare gruppi agli asset.
Il nome del gruppo deve soddisfare i seguenti requisiti:
Deve avere una lunghezza compresa tra 3 e 63 caratteri.
Deve iniziare con una lettera minuscola (a-z).
Deve terminare con una lettera minuscola (a-z).
Deve contenere solo lettere minuscole (a-z), numeri (0-9) o trattini (-) tra il primo e l'ultimo carattere.
(Facoltativo) Per assegnare più gruppi allo stesso asset, utilizza uno dei seguenti metodi:
Elenca l'asset su più righe, utilizzando lo stesso nome dell'asset su ogni riga, ma un nome di gruppo diverso per ogni riga.
Elenca più gruppi in una cella, mantenendo gli asset in una singola riga. Nella colonna Gruppi, inserisci ogni nome di gruppo in una riga separata della cella.
Salva ed esporta il file CSV modificato.
Importa le assegnazioni dei gruppi di asset modificate
Per importare le assegnazioni dei gruppi di asset modificate da un file CSV:
In Nome job di importazione file, fornisci un nome.
Nell'elenco Formato file, seleziona Dati del gruppo di asset (CSV).
Fai clic su Seleziona file da caricare.
Seleziona un file CSV di massimo 100 MB da caricare.
Se il file CSV modificato supera il limite di 100 MB, potrebbe essere necessario suddividerlo in file più piccoli e caricarli in job di importazione separati.
Fai clic su Carica file.
Tieni aperta la pagina mentre il caricamento del file è in corso per assicurarti che non si verifichi un errore.
Il Centro di migrazione crea il job di importazione e avvia la convalida del
file. Nella pagina Importazione dati, controlla lo stato del job per verificare la presenza di risultati e di eventuali errori segnalati.
Se i file sono convalidati correttamente, per importare le assegnazioni ai gruppi modificate,
fai clic su Importa dati e poi su Conferma.
Asset fuori ambito
Se contrassegni gli asset come fuori ambito, questi vengono nascosti nei gruppi.
Quando reintegri un asset fuori ambito, vengono mantenuti
i relativi abbonamenti ai gruppi originali.

For example, you can group together all the servers and databases\nthat belong to the same application.\n\nCreate groups of assets\n-----------------------\n\nTo create a group of assets, follow these steps:\n\n1. In the **Group details** page, enter the following information:\n\n 1. **Name**. The name of the group, for example the application name. To confirm, click **Next**.\n\n5. In the **Add servers** page, from the list of servers, select all the\n servers that you want to add to the group, then click **Next**.\n If you don't want to add servers, you can skip this step.\n\n | **Tip:** Use the **Filter** tab to select assets based on properties and values. For example, filter assets based on the OS or contributing source. To select more assets than those displayed on the page, select at least one asset, then click format_list_bulleted **Select all**.\n6. In the **Add database deployments** page, from the list of databases,\n select all the databases that you want to add to the group.\n If you don't want to add database deployments, you can skip this step.\n\n7. To create the group, click **Create**.\n\nAdd and remove assets from a group\n----------------------------------\n\nAfter you create a group of assets, you can add or remove assets.\n\nTo add assets to a group, follow these steps:\n\n1. Go to the **Groups** page.\n\n [Go to Groups](https://console.cloud.google.com/migration/discovery/groups)\n2. From the list of groups, select the group to which you want to add assets.\n\n3. On the group details page, follow these steps:\n\n 1. If you want to add servers, in the **Servers** tab, click **Add servers** . Then, in the new page that opens, select all the servers that you want to add to the group, then click **Add**.\n 2. If you want to add database, in the **Database deployments** tab, click **Add database deployments** . Then, in the new page that opens, select all the database deployments that you want to add to the group, then click **Add**.\n\nTo remove assets from a group, follow these steps:\n\n1. Go to the **Groups** page.\n\n [Go to Groups](https://console.cloud.google.com/migration/discovery/groups)\n2. From the list of groups, select the group from which you want to remove\n assets.\n\n3. On the group details page, click the **Servers** or **Database deployments**\n tab, depending on the type of asset that you want to remove.\n\n4. Select all the assets that you want to remove, click\n do_not_disturb_on **Remove\n from group** , then click **Confirm**.\n\nAdd or update asset group assignments in bulk\n---------------------------------------------\n\nTo add or update asset group assignments for multiple assets at once, follow\nthese steps:\n\n1. [Import modified asset group assignments](/migration-center/docs/import-asset-group)\n\n### Export asset group assignments\n\nTo export asset group assignments, follow these steps:\n\n1. Go to the **Groups** page.\n\n [Go to Groups](https://console.cloud.google.com/migration/discovery/groups)\n2. Click **Import groups from file**.\n\n3. To get the template with your current asset group data, click **Export Template**.\n\n You can download this data as CSV files or export it to Google Sheets\n for editing.\n\n### Modify asset group assignments\n\nTo modify asset group assignments, follow these steps:\n\n1. Open the CSV file and edit the **Groups** column to modify or assign\n groups to assets.\n\n The group name must meet the following requirements:\n - Must be 3 to 63 characters long.\n - Must start with a lowercase letter (`a-z`).\n - Must end with a lowercase letter (`a-z`).\n - Must contain only lowercase letters (`a-z`), numbers (`0-9`), or dashes (`-`) between the first and last characters.\n2. Optional: To assign multiple groups to the same asset, use one of the following\n methods:\n\n - List the asset on multiple rows, using the same asset name on each row but a different group name for each row.\n - List multiple groups in one cell, keeping the assets on a single row. In the groups column, enter each group name on a separate line in the cell.\n3. Save and export the modified CSV file.\n\n### Import modified asset group assignments\n\nTo import the modified asset group assignments from a CSV file, follow these steps:\n\n1. Go to the **Groups** page.\n\n [Go to Groups](https://console.cloud.google.com/migration/discovery/groups)\n2. For **File import job name**, provide a name.\n\n3. From the **File format** list, select **Asset group data (CSV)**.\n\n4. Click **Select file to upload**.\n\n5. Select one CSV file of up to 100 MB to upload.\n\n If your edited CSV file exceeds the 100 MB limit, you might need to split\n it into smaller files and upload them in separate import jobs.\n6. Click **Upload files**.\n\n Keep the page open while the file upload is in\n progress to make sure that the file upload does not fail.\n\n Migration Center creates the import job and starts validating your\n file. On the **Data import** page, check the job status for results and\n any reported errors.\n\n If you experience issues with your file upload, see [troubleshooting file\n import errors](/migration-center/docs/troubleshooting/file-import-errors).\n7.
