Make sure that you have enabled the Cloud Run Admin API on the project.\n2. Make sure that you have an AWS access key ID and secret access key to authenticate to your AWS account. For more information, see [Manage access keys for IAM users](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/IAM/latest/UserGuide/id_credentials_access-keys.html).\n3. [Create a secret](/secret-manager/docs/creating-and-accessing-secrets) by using Secret Manager for your AWS secret access key.\n4. Create a dedicated service account to run the AWS discovery. For instructions, see [Create service accounts](/iam/docs/service-accounts-create).\n5. Make sure that you grant the following required permissions and roles to the service account.\n\n#### Permissions required for this task\n\nTo perform this task, you must have the following\n[permissions](/iam/docs/overview#permissions):\n\n\n**Permissions**\n\n- `migrationcenter.admin` to the service account to run the AWS discovery from Google Cloud Migration Center.\n\n**Roles**\n\n- Secret Manager Secret Accessor (`roles/secretmanager.secretAccessor`) to access the AWS secret access key stored in Secret Manager.\n\nRun AWS discovery\n-----------------\n\nAWS discovery lets you scan and collect information about the assets\nin your AWS account. The collected information is automatically imported into\nMigration Center for assessment.\n\nTo run AWS discovery, follow these steps:\n\n1. Go to the **Data import** page.\n\n [Go to Data import](https://console.cloud.google.com/migration/discovery/dataImport)\n2. Click **Add data \\\u003e AWS discovery**.\n\n3. For **AWS account ID**, provide your AWS access key ID.\n\n4. For **AWS account secret**, provide your AWS secret access key.\n\n5. Optional: For **AWS region**, enter the AWS region to scan for your\n AWS assets. If you don't enter a region, assets\n from all enabled AWS regions are discovered.\n\n6.
