En esta página se explica cómo actualizar y borrar un clúster de Dataproc existente.
Actualiza un clúster
Puedes actualizar un clúster con una solicitud clusters.patch de la API de Dataproc, ejecutando un comando gcloud dataproc clusters update en una ventana de terminal local o en Cloud Shell, o bien editando los parámetros del clúster desde la pestaña Configuración de la página Detalles del clúster en la Google Cloud consola.
Se pueden actualizar los siguientes parámetros de clúster:
Dataproc emite un error ERROR_DUE_TO_UPDATE cuando falla una operación de actualización del clúster. Este error coloca el clúster en un estado a prueba de fallas para evitar la pérdida de datos y restringe otras operaciones del clúster: se pueden seguir enviando trabajos al clúster, se puede borrar el clúster, pero no se permiten otras operaciones de actualización del clúster.
Recomendación: Después de recibir un ERROR_DUE_TO_UPDATE en un clúster, vuelve a crear el clúster. Para ello, exporta la configuración del clúster para crear uno nuevo y, luego, borra el clúster con errores. Si falla la recreación del clúster, comunícate con Atención al cliente de Cloud para obtener ayuda para restablecer el clúster a un estado RUNNING.
Borra un clúster
Puedes borrar un clúster con una solicitud clusters.delete HTTP o programática de la API de Dataproc con la herramienta de línea de comandos de gcloud de Google Cloud CLI localmente en una ventana de la terminal o en Cloud Shell, o bien desde la consola deGoogle Cloud .
Usa la API de clusters.delete de Dataproc para borrar un clúster.
Console
Abre la página Clusters de Dataproc en la Google Cloud consola. Marca la casilla a la izquierda del nombre del clúster para seleccionarlo y, luego, haz clic en Delete para borrarlo.

This error places the cluster in a fail-safe state to\navoid data loss, and restricts further cluster operations: jobs can continue\nto be submitted to the cluster, the cluster can be deleted, but further\ncluster update operations are not permitted.\n\nRecommendation: After receiving an `ERROR_DUE_TO_UPDATE` on a cluster,\n[recreate the cluster](/dataproc/docs/guides/recreate-cluster#recreate_and_update_a_cluster)\nby exporting the cluster configuration to create a new cluster, then delete the\nfailed cluster.
