Creating Deployments with Cloud Launcher

Google Cloud Platform offers pre-defined templates that you can use to deploy common solutions with Deployment Manager. These templates are offered as part of Google Cloud Launcher and can be found in the Google Cloud Platform Console

The advantage of Cloud Launcher is that it handles configuration and template creation for you and you just deploy the solution through a button in the Cloud Platform Console. This greatly simplifies creating deployments on Deployment Manager.

Cloud Launcher offers some level of customization for these solutions; however, for advanced users who need full control over your configurations or want to do a high level of customization, you might need to create your own configuration.

Using Cloud Launcher

To use Cloud Launcher:

  1. Go to the Cloud Launcher page in the Cloud Platform Console.

Go to the Cloud Launcher page

  2. Click the solution you want to deploy.
  3. Follow the instructions to deploy your solution.
