Processes 5M pages monthly with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
Wins enterprise in-house teams, and 11 of India’s top 15 law firms, with CMEK data isolation
Drives low-latency, multilingual legal OCR with Gemini models
Eliminates operational overhead to accelerate product R&D
Jurisphere processes 5M legal pages monthly, securing enterprise in-house, and 11 of India’s top 15 law firms, with Gemini models.
Jurisphere is an AI-driven legal SaaS platform designed to help legal teams research, analyze, and process complex legal data with high speed and verifiable accuracy. Serving leading law firms, corporate enterprises, and RBI-regulated financial institutions across India, the platform relies on citation-backed AI models to deliver reliable, trustworthy legal intelligence.
In its early stages, Jurisphere operated on a single server environment. However, as document ingestion volumes expanded and enterprise clients demanded stringent data residency, auditability, and data isolation, the early infrastructure reached an operational limit. Managing unpredictable bursts—such as clients uploading compressed data archives containing hundreds of gigabytes—required dynamic elasticity that fixed server capacity could not deliver. Engineering effort spent maintaining infrastructure diverted focus away from core feature development.
Jurisphere chose to migrate to Google Cloud to support rapid scaling while meeting stringent enterprise security requirements. The decision was driven by Google Cloud-managed Kubernetes orchestration, enterprise compliance policies like zero data retention, and strong brand trust among legal sector stakeholders. The core engineering team executed the entire migration in-house without disrupting active users.
We needed an open, industry-standard stack that could handle unpredictable scaling and single-tenant enterprise compliance without adding DevOps overhead. Google Cloud gave us the exact foundation to grow seamlessly while keeping our engineering team hyper-focused on product innovation.

Jurisphere modernized its compute layer using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), integrated with KEDA-based autoscaling. This containerized architecture allows document processing pipelines to absorb sudden ingestion spikes by automatically scaling microservices without manual intervention. Managed services including Pub/Sub for event streaming, Memorystore for caching, Cloud Run for lightweight workloads, and Cloud SQL replaced legacy queuing logic, significantly reducing maintenance overhead.
At the intelligence layer, Jurisphere utilizes Gemini models within a proprietary multi-model routing setup. This delivers fast, cost-effective OCR, document intelligence, and multilingual processing across regional Indian languages while preserving source formatting. Jurisphere enforces citation-backed outputs across all legal research tasks to maintain strict precision.
Beyond output accuracy, stringent data security proved equally vital in building enterprise trust. By storing client archives in Google Cloud Storage with tiered Customer-Managed Encryption Keys (CMEK), Jurisphere offers client-controlled encryption and audit logging. This single-tenancy architecture unblocked key enterprise deals with regulated entities.
Today, Jurisphere processes around 5 million pages per month and serves 11 of the top 15 law firms in India. Backed by the scalable and secure infrastructure that Google Cloud lends, the team is driving its international expansion into the US and targeting highly regulated enterprise clients globally.
Gemini Flash gives us high-capability intelligence at fast latencies, while GKE autoscaling easily handles massive document spikes. Google Cloud CMEK security controls directly unblocked enterprise deals with top law firms and regulated entities.
