We’re looking for innovative submissions in 7 different categories of AI agents, covering a range of common use cases.
2025 award categories
Code Agent: assists developers with coding tasks (for example, code generation or review)
Creative Agent: helps marketing teams generate content, design assets, and more
Customer Agent: provides personalized interactions with customers
Data Agent: analyzes data, extracts insights, and surfaces recommendations
Edge Agent: runs inference on on-premises location and/or data center
Employee Agent: assists employees with tasks and automates workflows
Security Agent: helps identify threats, investigate incidents, and respond

Are there any specific eligibility requirements?
Are there any specific eligibility requirements?
Yes, you must be a Google Cloud customer and submit a complete application by 11:59 PM PT on February 28, 2025 that includes:
- A written description of the solution and Google Cloud products used
- A link to a publicly accessible PDF with a solution overview diagram and/or images
- A link to a publicly accessible demo video on YouTube showing the business value and technical functionality (5 minutes max)

How many times can my organization apply?
You may submit to as many agent categories as you like, ideally, via one submission form per proof of concept or solution to avoid duplication. A customer can receive up to two awards.
Will the info I submit be confidential?
Will the info I submit be confidential?
No. You should be ready for your work to be seen publicly if you apply for this award. The information you submit will be seen by the Google Cloud AI Groundbreaker Award team and the Google panel of judges and part of the application includes video and architecture diagrams, both of which must be publicly available.
