The National Center of Incident Readiness and Strategy for Cybersecurity (NISC) is a Japanese government body that establishes standards for cybersecurity for government agencies. One of the documents that NISC created is the "Common Standards Group for Cybersecurity Measures for Government Agencies and Related Agencies." This document outlines steps that should be taken by Japanese government and related agencies for the enhancement of information security.
We have created a whitepaper to help customers understand how we support compliance with NISC’s common standards set out in “Common Standards for Cybersecurity Measures for Government Agencies and Related Agencies” (final revision on July 4, 2023).
We can also provide the "Security Reference" document which is an additional guidance that explains how Google Cloud customers such as government agencies can utilize the cloud services and functions to comply with NISC’s common standards set out in “Common Standards for Cybersecurity Measures for Government Agencies and Related Agencies” (final revision on July 4, 2023). For those customers who would like to refer to the "Security Reference" document, please contact sales.
