What Google for Startups Cloud Programs are available?
- For Pre-Funded Startups: Start Tier: This program is designed for early-stage startups that have not yet secured equity funding.
- For Funded Startups: Scale Tier: This program supports startups with verified equity funding, ranging from pre-seed to Series A (with specific criteria for recent Series A funding).
- For Web3 Focused Startups: Scale Web3 Tier: This program is tailored for funded Web3 startups, accommodating both traditional institutional investment and Web3-specific funding sources.
- For AI Focused Startups: AI Scale Tier: This program is designed for startups focused on AI development.
What type of funding qualifies me for the Start Tier?
The Start Tier is exclusively for startups that have not yet received any equity funding. To be eligible, your startup must have been founded within the last five years.
What type of funding qualifies me for the Scale Tier?
The Scale Tier requires verified equity funding from an institutional investor. Eligible funding stages range from pre-seed to Series A. If you've raised a Series A, it must have been within the last 12 months.
What type of funding qualifies me for the Scale Web3 Tier?
The Scale Web3 Tier accepts verified equity funding from both traditional institutional investors and Web3-specific sources. Eligible Web3 funding includes blockchain foundation grants and verifiable token raises. Funding stages range from pre-seed to Series A. If Series A, it must have been raised within the last 12 months.

Credits are specifically for Google Cloud Platform services. They cannot be used for any third-party products or services.

In the Google Cloud console, you can convert your Free Trial billing account to a full, paid Cloud Billing account using the Activate option.
