Mandiant Academy offers Incident Response and Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysis certifications. Each certification exam is 1 hour in length, contains 50 questions, and is overseen by a live proctor. Participants must score 70% or higher to receive a 3-year certification backed by Mandiant.

Prove your and your security staff’s skills and capabilities in effectively handling cyber incidents
Exam objectives are based on subject matter workshops, industry survey results, and the NIST/NICE framework for PR-CIR-001.
3 to 5 years of IR experience is recommended, along with the following courseware: Windows Enterprise IR, Linux Enterprise IR, and Network Traffic Analysis.

Exam objectives are based on subject matter workshops, industry survey results, and the NIST/NICE framework for AN-ASA-001.
3 to 5 years of CTI experience is recommended with the following courses: Cyber Intel Foundations, Intel Research I, Intel Research II, and Intel Production.

Mandiant Academy requires candidates to recertify in order to maintain their certification status. The certification is valid for three years from the date of certification.
Recertification is accomplished by retaking the exam during the recertification eligibility time period and achieving a passing score. You may attempt recertification starting 60 days prior to your certification expiration date.
