Calling all Public Sector developers and engineers! Come and join us for Public Sector Challenge Hacks. You will participate in an engaging 3 hour hands-on session with experiences in cutting-edge technologies. Explore Veo2, Imagen 3, NotebookLM, AgentSpace, BigQuery, Firebase Studio, VertexAI studio, Google Threat Intelligence and more.

Teams will work collaboratively on challenges, earning points through a variety of hands-on activities which are submitted to the AI Gemini model for evaluation. The team accumulating the most points will emerge as the victor of Public Sector Challenge Hacks.

A selection of potential challenges are below:

• Using data preparation tools to clean and prepare data for ingestion to BigQuery
• Using BigQuery Geospatial features to pick an ideal location for a new office location or building
• Using BigQuery to analyse the carbon footprint of a Google Cloud organization
• Creating a chat app with Vertex AI Studio
• Exploring Google Cloud's Model Garden for prompt engineering
• Using Gemini Code Assist to code and deploy an AI app, which includes a Genkit task
• Deploying a Cloud Run function and configuring DialogFlow CX to point to it, followed by importing into Agentspace
• Deploying reCAPTCHA enterprise to protect from bots
• Discover threat actors and how they behave in a Capture the Flag competition with Google Threat Intelligence

As part of your attendance, you will be provided a voucher that will enable you to demonstrate your knowledge and skills with an industry-recognized Google Cloud certification, and additionally as part of your acceptance we would like to invite you to attend the Developer Day at Google Cloud Summit London. This is a full day event (around Public Sector Challenge Hacks) and will allow you to join a thriving community of developers and practitioners and dive straight into the technology shaping tomorrow. This learning experience is designed to help you up-skill, explore, network, and deepen your technical knowledge across Google Cloud technologies.
