12:45 PM–2:00 PM	Agentic AI in Action-Build your MLB Analytics Agent (hands-on lab workshop) Create a sophisticated Baseball AI agent that analyzes MLB matchups using the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) and deploy it as a production-ready service on Cloud Run. You will learn: Google ADK Fundamentals: Master the code-first development workflow of Google's Agent Development Kit for building sophisticated AI agents Google MCP Toolbox: Deploy and use Google's Model Context Protocol toolbox as a microservice to provide secure, scalable data access to your agents Multi-Tool Integration: Combine BigQuery analytics with live MLB API data using both MCP services and custom function tools Production Deployment: Deploy your agent to Cloud Run with enterprise-grade scaling, monitoring, and API access Gemini Integration: Leverage Google's latest Gemini models for natural language understanding and generation Full-Stack AI Applications: Build a complete web interface using Streamlit to showcase your agent's capabilities By the end of this session, you'll have built and deployed an intelligent agent capable of providing detailed pitcher-batter matchup analysis between two MLB teams.

We will address the key operational, technical, and strategic hurdles to ensure your first Agentic AI initiative is a measurable success. You’ll hear how MLB leverages AI and Google Cloud to analyze vast amounts of data and create personalized fan experiences. MLB processes over 25 million data points per game for real-time statistics, powering their Statcast system, and delivers customized content recommendations, leading to increased fan engagement and app ratings.
