Data-Driven Supply Chains: Unlocking Excellence with AI and Optimization

In today's dynamic business landscape, achieving supply chain excellence hinges on more than just operational efficiency; it demands a robust data foundation and a strategic approach to leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and optimization. This session will explore how organizations can transform their supply chains by building a solid data strategy, enabling powerful AI applications and advanced optimization techniques across all key functions, including forecasting and replenishment, fleet management and route optimization, and procurement analytics and global trade. Discover how a holistic approach to data, AI and powerful applicability of AI agents can unlock new levels of visibility, agility, and resilience, turning your supply chain into a strategic competitive advantage.

3:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Using AI to Accelerate Accurate Weather Forecasting

Traditional weather forecasting is accomplished by physics-based simulation approaches, requiring tremendous computational power to conduct even individual forecast runs faster than real-time to have predictive value. These simulations are expensive, time-consuming (but urgent), and have diminishing accuracy over longer forecast times due to the nonlinear dynamics involved and the initial data coarseness and quality. However, we have vast quantities of historical data on weather patterns and events, presenting an opportunity to train AI models on weather patterns and thus transform weather forecasting to inferencing–with accuracy and greatly reduced computational costs and time. Google’s WeatherNext is one of the first AI-based forecasting applications, and has demonstrated excellent results compared to best-in-class weather codes. Join us to learn more about how AI is being used in a historically simulation-based domain, and what this might mean for other applications and domains.

4:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Igniting Innovation: How Google Cloud Fuels Digital Transformation in Power & Energy

The "Igniting Innovation" session explores how Google Cloud's AI and Data & Analytics capabilities are catalyzing digital transformation within the Power & Energy sector. It delves into the application of agent frameworks to optimize complex value streams from asset development to energy integration and specific use cases like advanced inspection, schedule optimization and predictive maintenance.
