In particular, two of Valiance's flagship products, Wildlife Eye and CivicEye, have received public recognition for their transformative uses in wildlife conservation and civic safety.

Valiance's award-winning AI platform Wildlife Eye was designed to address rising human–wildlife conflict and inefficient manual monitoring in remote forests. It uses AI-powered image and video intelligence to identify, classify, and track wildlife in real time, even under extreme field conditions. The architecture uses custom computer vision models on cloud and edge devices for rapid processing of animal sighting data, which facilitates species classification and generates alerts to protect human and wildlife populations in zones of conflict.

Meanwhile, CivicEye was developed to turn passive CCTV ecosystems into real-time, action-oriented civic intelligence systems for governments. Addressing slow enforcement and inconsistent reporting across city departments, CivicEye provides real-time incident detection in urban areas. Its proprietary Video Query Intelligence relies on Google AI capabilities, enabling officers to query video footage using natural language. This intelligent network uses existing CCTV infrastructure, avoiding the need for a hardware overhaul.

The Valiance Video Intelligence Suite is built upon a three-layer architecture: edge AI and computer vision, multimodal data fusion, and intelligent alerting. This system requires a highly secure and scalable cloud environment compliant with data sovereignty rules, specifically MeitY-empaneled data centers. With these requirements in mind, Valiance selected Google Cloud as the core infrastructure for its Video Intelligence Suite.

Now, Cloud Storage acts as its petabyte-scale data lake, while the solution's backend uses Cloud Run for efficient, serverless scaling. Core AI models are deployed on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters, leveraging Horizontal Pod Autoscaler (HPA) and Vertical Pod Autoscaler (VPA) for flexible resource scaling and cost optimization.

This setup also provides native Google AI capabilities, which CivicEye's proprietary Video Query Intelligence relies on to allow officers to query video footage using natural language. This capability transforms raw video into an intelligent, actionable network. Crucially, it runs on existing CCTV infrastructure, meaning there was no need for an overhaul of hardware or wastage.

For Wildlife Eye, custom computer vision models deployed on Google Kubernetes Engine run on cloud/edge devices to enable real-time processing of animal sighting data. This facilitates species classification, distinguishes human presence, and generates alerts to protect citizens where conflict is present.

This represents a revolutionary change for forest departments facing rising human–wildlife conflict, delayed detection of animal movement, and limited on-ground intelligence. Traditional monitoring — which implied manual patrolling, radio calls, and fragmented camera networks — cannot scale across thousands of square kilometers the way Valiance's solution can.

Solving challenges for wildlife conservation and urban safety with AI

By eliminating manual surveillance and incident monitoring, both Wildlife Eye and CivicEye have been instrumental in wildlife conservation and urban intelligence. Processing more than seven billion images for real-time, high-accuracy species recognition, Wildlife Eye is proactively mitigating human–wildlife incidents and guiding forest authorities in patrol planning and habitat protection.

Achieving national recognition, including praise from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Wildlife Eye is currently scaling its deployments across multiple Tiger Reserves, establishing a new standard in AI-driven conservation.

Concurrently, CivicEye's 100+ deployments across India have enhanced urban safety and accountability. Having analyzed more than 140,000 hours of video, the platform has successfully logged 300,000+ incident detections with near-instantaneous, sub-five-second alert generation.
