The new way to detect accounting fraud
With a Vertex AI development platform providing access to GenAI models including Gemini Flash 2.0, and data stored in a BigQuery data warehouse for analysis, Transparently.AI is delivering on its mission of helping investors and financial institutions reduce risk. The business uses the Google Cloud AI services to train about 200 financial models on decades of data across 85,000 companies to replicate the analytical behaviors of forensic accountants, short sellers, credit and equity analysts and academics. This has enabled Transparently.AI to achieve a high degree of accuracy in determining whether accounting fraud or manipulation is occurring.
The system outputs are provided to investors and institutions as risk scores and ratings, supported by detailed explanations of detected red flags. Transparently.AI now plans to use Google Cloud AI to extend its analyses to non-fundamental and unstructured data such as transcripts of earnings calls and court cases.
