The new way to manage property

Property management has long relied on manual processes and fragmented systems, making tasks such as property maintenance, inspections, lease renewals, and payments laborious and time-consuming. Leaseo is changing that with its cloud-based, AI-powered platform that automates these everyday workflows for landlords and property managers.

The organization relies on BigQuery and Looker Studio to provide visibility into customer offerings and drive accurate business decision-making. “Through Google Cloud, we’re using data derived from customer feedback and telemetry from our products and services to become more data-driven and user centered in our approach,” explains James Fox, Founder, Leaseo.

With data in Cloud Storage synchronized and processed in real time with BigQuery and Spanner, and its platform running in Google Kubernetes Engine for elastic, burst-ready scalability, Leaseo’s infrastructure supports the prolific use of predictive and generative AI to streamline property management.

For example, with the Google Customer Engagement Suite and Vertex AI, Leaseo is running an AI Assist chatbot that answers common landlord and tenant queries quickly and accurately. Gemini 2.5 Flash for call summarization, Gemini Live API for natural language and conversational processing, the Google Enterprise CX for evaluation and analytics and Gemini 3 Pro (Veo 3.1 and Nano Banana) to enable the organization to enrich data from images such as photos of leaking taps to expedite property management workflows, perform natural language translations and summarization, generate videos and undertake conversational analytics.

With Leaseo operating in a highly regulated environment and capturing sensitive personal and financial information, services such as Cloud Armor enable the organization to meet strict security obligations at scale to protect its fast-growing customer base.

Why Google Cloud

Working with Google Cloud partner Spaceman Consulting, Leaseo found that moving from its incumbent cloud service provider (AWS) to Google Cloud would provide access to powerful security, infrastructure, data, and AI services and enable the development of a richer, more functional platform to streamline property management tasks. It would also enable the organization to overcome limits on API calls with partners, which frequently saw it reach its monthly ceiling in just one hour.

“Operational ease is critical to us as we scale and focus intensively on our customers, and the proven Google Cloud with best-in-market AI services such as Vertex AI is a huge advantage for us,” says Fox. “The consulting organization also mapped all of our incumbent providers’ services to the approximately equivalent services in Google Cloud and identified a 25% saving that we could reinvest into an AI-first strategy with our customers.”

With Spaceman Consulting, Leaseo established that Google Cloud services such as Google Kubernetes Engine could realize its business outcomes and future-proof the organization against large-scale changes to its cloud architecture for a decade or longer.

In addition, the cloud provider’s AI services could provide better, faster experiences to customers at a lower cost to the business. 

For example, with Vertex AI, Leaseo was able to achieve a 300 to 500 millisecond response time from its conversational AI chatbot and required the introduction of a 100 millisecond delay to make the conversational experience more natural that provides a more natural experience for users. Gemini LLMs met the organization’s performance, reliability, scalability, speed, and consistency requirements, as well as being about 100 times less expensive than a competing provider for tasks such as text-to-speech translation.
