Building a robust, scalable, and intelligent learning platform
With its migration to Google Cloud, Edsy uses a suite of products to deliver its B2B English education solutions to almost a thousand schools across Thailand. At the core of the company's architecture is Cloud Run, which provides a serverless environment for Edsy's application services. With Pub/Sub, the company can feed user inputs, including everything from homework submissions to generating lesson content or chatbot queries, directly into BigQuery alongside student progress and performance data. This data warehouse, combined with Cloud Storage, allows Edsy to scale data management up and down automatically based on surges such as major homework deadlines.

Through Vertex AI and Gemini 2.0 Flash, the company has built a layered system of AI agents which review one another for factual accuracy, grammar, and more. These agents operate in parallel to quickly return information to students while ensuring the responses are accurate. As the agents learn, they can provide even more tailored educational content and better feedback to users. Using Google Speech-to-Text APIs, Edsy can also more reliably ingest and review students' spoken assignments in real time, rather than reviewing transcripts.
