The new way to modernize hosting for millions of websites

SiteGround wanted to move beyond its legacy infrastructure to scale, innovate, and respond faster to customer needs. Recognizing the limitations of their monolithic architecture, SiteGround adopted a cloud-native approach, gradually refactoring their applications. Their multi-phase transformation also involved implementing DORA principles to optimize their development processes. This transition allowed them to achieve greater flexibility, scalability, and resilience. They embraced Google Cloud's managed services, including Cloud SQL for their databases and Memorystore for caching, freeing their teams from the burden of infrastructure management and allowing them to focus on delivering core business value.

Moving to Google Cloud was pivotal for SiteGround. It allowed us to break free from the constraints of our legacy infrastructure and embrace a cloud-native approach for faster, more agile development and deployment.
