Created just three years ago, Dataïads is revolutionizing ecommerce through its "Post-Click Experience" solution powered by AI and Google Cloud, and is already attracting the biggest ecommerce brands.

Optimizing the profitability of media campaigns with the "Post-Click Experience"

With customers including L’Occitane, Fnac Darty, Darjeeling, IDKIDS, Kiabi, and Claudie Pierlot, Dataïads helps the biggest ecommerce brands to maximize their investments in paid media campaigns. And yet, Dataïads has only just turned three. This being said, its founders have extensive experience gained over many years in advertising and digital marketing. And it's based on this experience, combined with the power of Google Cloud solutions, that the company has built a solid reputation in the field of "Post-Click Experience."

"We launched our solution after noticing something," explains Thibault de Broissia, co-founder of the company. "There's a wall between performance marketing teams and ecommerce teams. The former don't have the tools to optimize the arrival of users coming on the website from paid channels. The latter, while benefiting from a lot of data and marketing intelligence, don't have the means to increase the conversion rate depending on the origin of the acquisition channels. At Dataïads, we don't knock down that wall, we go around it, in order to rapidly create a personalized page that's optimized according to the user's journey."

We turn ad clicks into effective conversions by making every interaction more relevant and engaging for users, while maximizing return on ad spend for e-retailers. On average, our technology increases ROAS by 15% and the average order value by 4%.

In practice, Dataïads has developed an innovative approach to improve the experience of users who click on an ad, while increasing the profitability of a company's marketing investments. When a user clicks on an ad, they are immediately directed to a page specially designed by Dataïads, which is built on the fly and optimized depending on the user context: origin, product type, behaviors, and other data collected by the company. The generated pages not only display the product that prompted the click, but also additional or alternative items.

"We turn ad clicks into effective conversions by making every interaction more relevant and engaging for users, while maximizing return on ad spend for e-retailers," says Thibault de Broissia. "On average, our technology increases ROAS by 15%.

The flexibility and efficiency of Google Cloud services boosting marketing innovation

As an ambitious startup with limited resources, we needed a scalable infrastructure to support our growth. Google Cloud’s managed services provide us with both elasticity and optimal performance in a fully automated way.

CTO of Dataïads

"Another advantage of our solution is that it can be deployed very quickly, in just a few weeks, and requires little or no IT support," says Emile Caron, CTO of the company. When creating an ad campaign, the client company generally just allows API access to Google Ads, which, in turn, allows Dataïads to configure advertising links so that users are redirected to Dataïads' pages rather than to the standard product pages on the ecommerce site. So Dataïads' system automatically takes over, dynamically optimizing post-click interactions to maximize conversions and sales.

From the start, Dataïads opted to rely on Google Cloud’s infrastructure and services for technical, strategic, and practical reasons. First of all, its proximity to Google Shopping, which is a core business for Dataïads, naturally steered the choice toward Google Cloud to benefit from optimal connectivity. The IT team's previous positive experience with Google Cloud also played a key role in this decision.

In operational terms, Google Cloud also offered controlled cost management and an adaptable infrastructure. While boosting the acceleration of developments, Google Cloud's managed services—specifically Cloud Run and BigQuery—have largely contributed to this economic and technical optimization, as highlighted by Emile Caron: "As an ambitious startup with limited resources, we needed a scalable infrastructure to support our growth, without having to overinvest in an oversized architecture at the start to guarantee optimal performance for our customers. The managed services provide us with both elasticity and optimal performance in a fully automated way."

In addition, Google Cloud's support through its startup program also made it more attractive for the launch. "We were therefore able to test and optimize our solution without major financial limitations, which is crucial for a startup which is in the process of creating its offer and doesn't yet have customers to guarantee its income," states Thibault de Broissia.

Google Cloud's AI models optimizing conversion dynamics

The advanced technologies and performance of Google Cloud's data platform also played a role in the company's selection criteria. Between the management of product catalogs and user clicks, and the multiple analyses carried out on the load time of a page, on bounce rates, and on user behavior, Dataïads handles especially large volumes of data.

At the same time, the company relies on machine learning models to automatically distribute traffic and AI models to improve product descriptions and images, and thereby optimize how they are displayed in order to obtain a better conversion rate. So far, these solutions have been developed internally. However, Dataïads is now considering relying on Vertex AI to strengthen its AI approach. "This will allow us to enrich our solutions while centralizing our operations in the Google Cloud ecosystem. In other words, we will be able to use advanced models without complicating our architecture," indicates Emile Caron.

The post-click revolution is winning over e-retailers worldwide

The rapid growth of Dataïads and the speedy adoption of its solution by major ecommerce brands demonstrate the importance of the company's technological and strategic choices. This desire for continued innovation, particularly through Vertex AI, should strengthen its position as a strategic ally for e-retailers even more. In a constantly evolving digital landscape, the company offers businesses the tools they need to effectively navigate the growing complexity of online sales. Its innovative "Post-Click Experience" solution not only optimizes advertising investments, it also significantly improves the user experience, which is a crucial element in terms of customer loyalty.

"What's more, Google Cloud's global infrastructure creates promising opportunities for international expansion," says Thibault de Broissia. With the ability to deploy its services quickly and efficiently in new regions, this company specializing in the generation of customer experience driven by artificial intelligence can calmly consider expanding on a global scale, while maintaining the quality and performance of its services.

Dataïads—a specialist in generating customer experiences driven by artificial intelligence—was founded in 2021. Based in Paris, the startup employs around 40 people and has already built a solid reputation through its SaaS "Post-Click Experience" solution that has attracted the biggest ecommerce brands.
