Simplification and innovation: AI-powered subtitle generation and translation for corporate messaging
Reduced costs/lead times: Fewer external service providers
Engagement and inclusivity: Employees are more involved, and there is better cohesion
A competitive advantage: A feature that sets Comeen apart
Strategic positioning: Reinforces Comeen's AI expertise and innovative image
Comeen has strengthened its position as a corporate and global digital signage pioneer by leveraging Google Cloud to unify its infrastructure, integrate advanced technologies, and power an innovative automated subtitle generation feature for digital signage.
Founded in 2018, Comeen is reinventing internal communications and the employee experience for large companies by creating workspaces where information is seamlessly passed along in an instant, regardless of language or location. Marketed as SaaS, its innovative solutions are already used by large international groups such as Veolia, Auchan, and Sanofi, transforming the way in which employees interact in 42 countries.
"Our mission is to improve the employee experience by ensuring seamless and rapid access to information, anytime, anywhere," confirms Ben Gauthier, Comeen CEO and Co-founder.
This vision of frictionless communication is taking shape through intuitive solutions natively integrated with day-to-day collaborative tools—such as Google Workspace—allowing enterprises to quickly deploy more connected and engaging workspaces.

Comeen's story began with a digital signage solution enabling companies to broadcast news, job postings, and other welcome messages on screens in common areas. The health crisis in 2020 accelerated the company's transformation with the launch of three workplace management solutions responding to a new challenge: space optimization in the hybrid work era.
"Our clients are navigating a major transformation - employees that were once in the office every day are now only there three or four days a week. As a result, they have to optimize spaces to reduce property-related expenses while ensuring employees have a place to work. In this context, internal communication becomes a crucial strategic challenge: it needs to enable the maintenance of social ties between scattered teams and the preservation of company culture, while ensuring employee engagement whether they are in the office or working from home," emphasizes Ben Gauthier.
With video becoming the preferred media for internal communications, international businesses are facing a major challenge: the rapid distribution of content accessible in all required languages. To address this, at the end of 2024, Comeen introduced a game-changing feature: the automatic generation of multilingual subtitles for videos displayed on digital signage, powered by Google Cloud's Gemini AI.
Our presence on Google Cloud Marketplace has also transformed our relationship with major international accounts, significantly dramatically streamlining our sales cycles.

"Multilingual video production has traditionally been slow, generally involving several service providers over several days, which can make some content obsolete before it's even published," explains Simon Clériot, Comeen CTO and Co-founder. "Our new feature is a game changer: clients can upload their video within their regular workflow and instantly receive accurate subtitles for their digital signage, in all their employees’ languages. We use a multi-steps AI-workflow to make sure the subtitles are accurate and can be used as-is."
This innovation is clearly revolutionizing communication for international businesses. When integrated with day-to-day tools like Google Workspace, it enables any employee to generate multilingual video subtitles in 40 languages in just one click, without any particular technical expertise. This user-friendly solution, coupled with a drastic reduction in production costs and lead times, ensures truly inclusive message distribution. Plus, immediate access to information in employees' native language transforms their experience, which boosts engagement and strengthens team cohesion on a global scale.
Comeen's strategic decision to consolidate its solutions on Google Cloud is not just a matter of operational gains. It reflects a wider ambition: breaking down communication barriers and ensuring corporate messaging is accessible worldwide. With the introduction of automatic multilingual subtitle generation into digital signage, Comeen is turning complex communication challenges into inclusive opportunities for international businesses.
"Video has become the preferred medium for internal communications, but, until now, multilingual video production represented a major hurdle for global companies. By embedding AI into the day-to-day tools teams use, every employee can create and share content in the required languages in just a few clicks. It's a real paradigm shift in corporate communications," concludes Ben Gauthier.
