Autonom8's low-code platform leverages Google Cloud services, including Vertex AI, Gemini, and Vision AI, to help customers build autonomous, agentic workflows. Enterprises seeking to build generative AI-powered solutions are primarily focused on cost, quality, response time, and security. Autonom8's evaluation found the Gemini models were superior to those of another leading service, and 10x cheaper on a cost-per-token basis. Autonom8 started operations on a traditional cloud, but identified opportunities to scale and run more efficiently using a microservices architecture in a Google Kubernetes Engine-managed containerized environment. Google Cloud was also cost-competitive while its regional security controls and backup and restoration met the requirements of Autonom8's banking and finance customers.
Over time, Autonom8 identified opportunities to apply gen AI through Google Cloud to add intelligence to its low-code workflow automation platform.
