Reduces creative generation time and cost by orders of magnitude, removing barriers to entry in audio advertising
Drives expansion into new markets, from mobile gaming to connected TVs and automotive interfaces
Enables advertisers to optimize campaigns in real time with instant analytics and flexible campaign management
Improves gamer experience by delivering contextually relevant audio messages without interrupting gameplay
Audiomob uses Google Cloud and AI to deliver audio ads in mobile games and apps without disrupting gameplay.
As any gamer will tell you, there’s nothing more distracting than advertising that interrupts your progress mid-level. That’s where Audiomob comes in. By using its AI-driven platform, advertisers can insert contextually relevant audio ads directly into gameplay, so participants can hear promotional messages from brands like Sony Music, Babbel, PepsiCo, and Xbox without interrupting their progress.
It’s a huge leap forward in digital advertising that promises to enhance both the gamer experience and opportunities for game developers to monetize their titles. But to succeed in the cut and thrust of in-game advertising, you also need to deliver at scale.
Wilfrid Obeng, CTO and Co-founder of Audiomob, says, “Before implementing Google Cloud solutions, we were often bogged down in routine production tasks rather than focusing on platform innovation. This made it difficult to scale and keep pace with the rapidly evolving digital advertising landscape.
Audiomob’s plans for global expansion were also challenged by the demand placed on the platform by brands that each have their own campaign strategies and creative goals. This prevented the company from fully capitalizing on the $100 billion addressable market for audio advertising, and on opportunities to expand into connected TV and automotive interfaces."
With Google Cloud, advertisers can now access instant performance data that informs creative development and market strategy.

Brand safety was another concern. With 10,000 unique audio advertisements daily, Audiomob’s manual oversight process, required to ensure appropriate ad placement, struggled to keep up with demand.
“The speed of development and industry change meant we needed a more agile, scalable foundation for our business and its clients. Google Cloud enabled us to ask, ‘What if?’ and get immediate, actionable feedback,” says Obeng. “This approach was crucial for our ability to innovate quickly while maintaining resilience and brand trust that’s essential for real-time advertising platforms.”

Audiomob migrated its innovative audio advertising platform to Google Cloud, with Bigtable as the cornerstone of its real-time bidding system.
We’re a great example of how a smart, agile business combined with Google Cloud’s scale and innovation can quickly expand into markets worth potentially billions of dollars.

For its data warehouse it chose BigQuery, while opting for GKE Autopilot, a mode of operation in GKE in which Google manages Audiomob’s infrastructure configuration.
This architecture delivers low latency and high throughput for matching an audio ad with the right user at precisely the right moment — all without interrupting gameplay.
The team is also using Vertex AI to automate the creation of companion banners for audio ads. This replaced time-intensive manual workflows, accelerating production cycles while maintaining consistent quality standards, accelerating Audiomob’s global expansion.
Brand safety is guaranteed by an automated review pipeline built on Google Cloud's Speech-to-Text and natural language processing technologies. This system flags potentially problematic content for human review, maintaining appropriate standards across diverse gaming environments while making sure the business is able to scale safely.
Audiomob stores creative assets in Cloud Storage and makes them globally aware using Google’s content delivery network. This allows low-latency delivery of creatives to end users around the world.
Christian Facey, CEO and Co-founder, says, “With Google Cloud, we’ve built a highly scalable infrastructure that supports Audiomob’s global expansion. Their platforms and tools enable us to operate efficiently and reliably at scale as we continue to innovate and develop our own AI technologies in-house.”
Audiomob's new AI-driven workflows have transformed its operational model, eliminating creative bottlenecks that previously constrained growth. By automating processes that once required extensive manual oversight, the team redirected valuable engineering resources toward platform innovation and feature development.
By expanding the number of languages on the platform, Audiomob has enabled advertisers to deploy truly global campaigns while maintaining consistent messaging and performance analytics across diverse markets.
Meanwhile, the platform has cemented trust between Audiomob and its advertisers and publishers. The AI-powered review system processes about 10,000 unique audio ads daily, ensuring appropriate content reaches users while protecting app environments from problematic messaging.
This safeguard has strengthened Audiomob's reputation as a reliable advertising partner for premium brands and publishers alike.
Real-time analytics capabilities have revolutionized decision-making across the organization. Advertisers can now access instant performance data that informs everything from creative development to market strategy, enabling rapid course corrections and campaign optimization.
This data-driven approach has enhanced campaign effectiveness while providing advertisers with unprecedented visibility into audience engagement patterns.
Obeng also praises the support offered by the Google Cloud team during the project. Direct collaboration with Google Cloud engineers accelerated both the initial adoption and ongoing refinement of cloud services. This support meant that Audiomob was able to rapidly validate technical approaches and get a rapid response to implementation questions that streamlined the development process.
The combination of internal Audiomob expertise and Google Cloud resources established a highly efficient implementation pathway, so Audiomob can focus on innovation rather than integration challenges. This approach supports its expansion into new markets and technologies while maintaining the performance standards essential for growth.
Obeng says, “Our partnership with Google Cloud wasn't just about building a platform, it was about building trust at scale. This foundation allows us to focus on what's next, pushing the boundaries of in-app advertising and delivering a truly seamless experience for consumers.”
Even though we are a relatively young business, Google Cloud didn’t hesitate to give us its backing and all the resources we needed.
