These pricing updates are part of an ongoing effort to align pricing with the value and performance of these services.
Starting May 1, 2026, the list price per GiB for CDN Interconnect, Direct Peering, and Carrier Peering will increase in North America, Europe, and Asia.
No immediate technical action is required to maintain service. However, it is recommended that customers take the following administrative steps:

Are there alternative connectivity options recommended by Google Cloud? Yes. For customers currently using Direct Peering or Carrier Peering, exploring migration to a Verified Peering Provider (VPP) is recommended.
Why consider a Verified Peering Provider (VPP)? VPP is the recommended approach for reaching publicly accessible resources. Unlike Direct Peering, Verified Peering Providers can offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA) and are designed to simplify the connectivity experience for Google cloud customers.
