The following terms apply to use of the Globex Platform and the Services available at the Facility:
Definitions.
“Cloud Locations Page” means https://cloud.google.com/about/locations/.
“Exchange” means the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
“Facility” means the us-south-1 Region where Google will offer managed Services to support the Exchange’s futures and options (F&O) marketplaces.
“Globex Platform” means the Exchange’s Globex application used to operate the Exchange’s F&O marketplaces.
“Region” means a region from which a particular Service is offered, as identified at the Cloud Locations Page.
Additional Use Restrictions. Customer will ensure that Customer and its End Users do not use the Globex Platform or the Services available at the Facility to operate spot or cash, futures, options, securities, swaps, event contracts or similar marketplaces or to otherwise provide listing, matching, trading, execution, clearing, settlement, post-trade processing, data, index, and/or data analytic services for financial instruments to third parties (collectively, the “Restricted Activities”).
Customer instructs Google to share data (including Customer Data) with the Exchange to the extent reasonably required to provide, administer, and provide technical support to the Globex Platform.
In addition to these terms, the following terms apply to the Customer’s use of the Globex Platform: (i) the terms of the agreement under which Google has agreed to provide access to the Google Cloud Platform to Customer, (ii) in the case of channel customers, the Google Cloud Platform Terms of Service located at https://cloud.google.com/terms.
