Maps Demo Project Terms of Service

1. This Agreement is effective when Customer clicks to accept the Agreement, or enters into an agreement into which these terms are incorporated by reference (the "Effective Date"). As the person accepting this Agreement on Customer’s behalf, you represent and warrant that: (a) you have full legal authority to bind Customer to this Agreement; (b) you have read and understand this Agreement; and (c) you agree, on behalf of Customer, to this Agreement. If you do not have the legal authority to bind Customer, please do not click to accept or use the Services.

5. this Agreement

Upon determining eligibility, Google Maps Platform offers an API and usage-limited project (the "Maps Demo Project") to allow users to evaluate GMP products without attaching a billing account.

Customer's use is subject to the following additional terms:

1. Eligibility: Each Google account may have only one (1) Maps Demo Project with an authentication method at any given time.
2. Supported APIs: Only a limited subset of Google Maps Platform functionality will be available for Maps Demo Project. Additional features require a full paid account.
3. Usage Limits: Usage is limited. Google may enforce, adjust, or zero-out these usage limits at any time without notice. Once the limit is reached, the Service will cease to function until the limits resets or Maps Demo Project is upgraded.
4. No Production Use: The Maps Demo Project with an authentication method is intended solely for evaluation and testing. It is not intended for production use. Production use is strictly prohibited.
5. Upgrade Path: You may upgrade to a full Google Maps Platform account at any time by adding a valid Cloud Billing Account. Upon upgrade, if your billing address is in the European Economic Area (EEA), some product features or terms may differ. Learn more.
6. No SLA: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in The Google Maps Platform Service Level Agreement, the SLA does not apply to this Maps Demo Project. For this Maps Demo, Google provides no guarantees regarding uptime, availability, or reliability and no support is available.
7. Termination: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service or the Google Cloud Platform Terms of Service concerning termination, Google reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Maps Demo Project at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability.
8. No Warranties: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the warranty section of the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service or the Google Cloud Platform Terms of Service, Google provides the Maps Demo Project "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without any guarantees, representations, or warranties of any kind, express or implied.
9. Limitation of Liability: NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY IN THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SECTION OF THE GOOGLE MAPS PLATFORM TERMS OF SERVICE OR THE GOOGLE CLOUD PLATFORM TERMS OF SERVICE,TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. GOOGLE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE DEMO PROJECT.
10. Downstream Liability: As the project creator, you are solely responsible for any activity that occurs under your Maps Demo Project, including the activities of any third parties or end users you authorize or allow to access the Maps Demo Project.
11. Data Use: Google may use usage data from the Maps Demo Project to improve our products.
12. Conflicting Terms: If there is a conflict between the documents that make up this Agreement, then the documents will control in the following order:
13. these Maps Demo Project Terms of Service,
14. the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service,
15. the Google Cloud Platform Terms of Service, and
16. the terms at any URL.
17. Entire Agreement: This Agreement states all terms agreed between the parties and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous agreements between the parties relating to its subject matter. In entering into this Agreement, neither party has relied on, and neither party will have any right or remedy based on, any statement, representation or warranty (whether made negligently or innocently), except those expressly stated in this Agreement. This Agreement includes URL links to other terms (including the URL Terms), which are incorporated by reference into the Agreement. After the Effective Date, Google may provide an updated URL in place of any URL in the Agreement.
